📘 What is APTET 2025?
APTET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level examination conducted to assess the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in Classes I to VIII in Government and Aided.
Candidates qualifying in the APTET 2025 exam will be eligible for Teacher Recruitment Tests (TRT) with 20% weightage given to their APTET score.
🎓 APTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Paper-1A (Classes I–V – Regular Schools)
- Intermediate with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwBD).
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) / 4-year B.El.Ed. / 2-year D.Ed. (Special Education).
Paper-1B (Classes I–V – Special Schools)
- Intermediate with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- D.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent RCI-recognized qualification.
Paper-2A (Classes VI–VIII – Regular Schools)
- Graduation with B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- PG candidates with 3-year B.Ed-M.Ed Integrated are eligible.
Paper-2B (Classes VI–VIII – Special Schools)
- Graduation or Post-Graduation with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwBD).
- B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent RCI-approved qualification.
💰 APTET 2025 Application Fee
- ₹1000/- per paper.
- Candidates applying for multiple papers must pay ₹1000 for each.
- Fee payment and application submission dates: 24th Oct – 23rd Nov 2025.
🧮 APTET 2025 Exam Pattern
APTET 2025 consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) per paper, with no negative marking.
